If you prefer a front end that looks stock when you’re not towing, this base plate kit does the job. The brackets sit far back on the frame so they stay out of sight, and once you pull the removable drawbars, the setup is virtually invisible. The design keeps everything tucked behind the grille where it’s protected from scrapes and scuffs, so the front of your vehicle stays neat and uncluttered.
Hook-up and removal are simple thanks to the twist-lock design. Each arm slides into the bracket, clicks in place, and locks with built-in pull rings. The #118-3 is a perfect fit on my 1995 Geo Tracker. When you pull off the removable arms you would never know they are there. The Quality is very good easy to put on all you have to do is drill 4 holes the tube on the base plate fits into the tube on the frame of the tracker and with the 2 bolts it is a solid fit. I was worried about the plate nut getting it inside of the frame but it went in easy when you put it over the frame tube and use a thin piece of metal to slide it in place. I’m very happy with it. I probably could of got it on without taking my bumper off but with only 4 bolts holding my bumper on it made it easier
Amazing how much bulk there is to this base compared to the base I used on my Pickup truck. Going to get them mounted on the new vehicle and give them a test soon

the inserts that go in the horns they don't think ahead to composite for aggravate
Works as intended, was relatively easy to install and the Jeep follows along nicely behind the Motor Home.

Installed the RM-521451-4 on my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Did it myself. Has been working great. Highly recommend.
Came on time in perfect condition. Installation easy except putting the bumper facia back on. Follow the directions and it works fine. In the year since installation the Jeep Cherokee trailhawk has been towed coast to coast and more locally for more than 6000 miles without any issues. I would recommend this product
This was the other part of my order to install the Roadmaster Stowmaster tow bar on my new Jeep.
Fit perfectly. Installation easier then I expected. Snapping the front bumper facia from my 2019 Jeep Cherokee a little more difficult then the instructions would have you believe. Takes some effort to pop it away from the vehicle. That is the only snag.

After a little confusion with one rep I worked with another and have just received all I need for a new flat-tow package for my RV/Jeep. Meghan was able to help me figure out how to use my existing tow bar with an adapter, which saved me a good bit. I highly recommend etrailer!!!!
i suspect that the kit was for a 2018 cherokee for a couple of reasons. The first is the top 2 holes of the brackets were 3/16th too low to align with the holes on the jeep. i was able to elongate the bracket holes to line up. The rest of the holes lined up. The elongated holes worked fine. the valance was held on by 20 or so white locking clips. nothing like the directions showed. fortunately i was able to figure out how to remove the clips. the workmanship on the brackets was nice. i would check out where those top 2 holes are supposed to be.....John

This is the adapter kit i needed for my 2019 Jeep Cherokee to flat tow it behind my Class A Motorhome. At the time I first ordered this kit the factory still had to finish the design process as we had purchased the Jeep when it came out in 2018. It took about 6 weeks for the factory to call me to say it was done and could be ordered. My RV mechanic installed it and it went very well according to him. I towed the Jeep this weekend and it worked flawlessly. It replaces the tow hooks on the front of the Jeep. Everything arrived very quickly and in perfect order from etrailer.
The crossbar is functioning great and I feel confident while flat-towiny Cherokee. I've done over 3,000 miles so far and many more to come!

This base plate was a perfect fit for my 2021 Cherokee. I had to do a slight modification. The 2 bolts at the top did not light up until I moved the holes up 116 of an inch. The people at etrailer are the best to work with. Alway a pleasure anytime I order anything from them.
