Question:

I just purchased a tow system from E-Trailer Order # I Ordered the Roadmaster 521451-5 Baseplate Kit, which cant be used with the Guardian Rock shield and some models of the Tow Defender or the Stowmaster, all of which I ordered. Can you take a look at my order and tell me if I order the 521451-4 Baseplate kit, will I be able to utilize everything in my original order?

Yes, if you replace the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521451-5 with the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # RM-521451-4 on your 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elite you can then use the Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard part # RM-4000, Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening part # RM-4700, and Roadmaster Stowaway Storage System part # RM-4000-40 that you already ordered.

The reason that you can't use the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521451-5 with the above components is because there would be nowhere for them to mount on the base plates. I called Roadmaster just to be sure and they said once you swap out the base plates then you will have anything that you need.
