Already have a tow bar? You can keep using it. The lugs pair directly with Blue Ox tow bars for a secure connection. If you’re using Roadmaster or Demco gear, adapters—RM-031 or RM-031-5 for Roadmaster and DM9523041 for Demco—make it compatible. Integrated mounting points also let you attach an electrical connector plug bracket (sold separately) so your wiring stays neat and easy to reach.
You don’t need specialized tools or welding skills for this one. The kit bolts securely to the chassis using the included mounting hardware for a straightforward install that fits right into a weekend project plan. With clear layout points and a distance between brackets of up to 31-1/4" and a bracket height of 17-1/4", it’s easy to line up your tow setup confidently and get back on the road.

Product works well, just towed our Avalanche 4353 miles on this trip. Everything is solid and wiring as it should.
Have yet to install this base plate on my Cadillac Escalade. It looks like it will install easily, all parts are included and I like that it appears it will fit nicely with the styling of my truck. No protruding cross bars etc.
I look forward to trying it out.
Look at the small print. Fits 1500 not 2500. Order the wrong one will cost you $[XX]. BX1678 fits the 2500.
