Question:
Hi, I just purchased a motorhome and want to tow my 2013 Suburban. The motor came with a Blue Ox tow bar BX 7420 and Blue Ox Safety chains BX 88197 which look like the right setup for the vehicle. I need the base plate and the wiring for it. I also have the Patriot ll braking system. It look like I need the breakaway switch, lanyard, cable and top fangs for my Suburban. let me know what I need to order and Ill get it going. thanks

We can certainly help with that. The replacement breakaway switch kit is part # BRK2505, witch includes the breakaway switch, the coiled lanyard and the power cable that plugs into the Patriot II Supplemental Braking System. The top fangs are available as a replacement part as # BLU34FR.
For a base plate, use # BX1676 (assuming your Suburban is a 1500 model) and for a wiring option, I'd recommend the # RM-15267 Diode kit.
According to my research, your Suburban is capable of being flat towed if it's a 4WD model. I've linked to the products I've mentioned as well as to some installation videos that I hope you'll find helpful.
