Hello Johnny,

Thanks for writing in!

I have a solution for you. Blue Ox does not currently have a base plate available for the fourth-generation Toyota Tacoma, so you will want to go with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM32EQ.

One important thing to point out is that the # RM32EQ is not compatible with the TRD Pro, TRD PreRunner, Trailhunter, or any i-FORCE MAX models.

Since you were looking for a Blue Ox base plate, I am guessing you may already have Blue Ox tow bars. If that is the case, no worries, you can still use them. You will just need the Roadmaster Base Plate Adapter Brackets for Blue Ox RV-Mounted Tow Bars # RO64FR so your Blue Ox tow bars can connect to the Roadmaster base plate. I attached a video where my buddy Ryan will show you how they work.

As far as installation goes, the # RM32EQ mounts directly to the Tacoma's frame and does require some trimming of the lower grille and splash guard. Once installed, the arms are removable, so you can pull them out when you aren't flat towing for a much cleaner look on the front of your Tacoma.

Are you just getting a new vehicle set-up? I am happy to get a complete tow package together, what other parts do you currently have?
