Video Transcript for Review of the Taylor Made External Eye Ends for 7/8" Bimini Top Poles

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the Taylor Made Bimini top external eye ends. These external eye ends allow you to connect your support poles to jaw slides or deck hinges, to securely support your Bimini boat top.They are made out of Zemax with a Chrome finish, and they're going to fit Bimini poles with a diameter of 7/8". As you can see on the side, we're going to have 1/8" Allen bolt that can be backed out to create more room inside for your pole. And then once your pole is placed inside, you can use an Allen wrench to tighten that down to secure it onto the pole.

Our eye ends are going to stand just about two inches. And to show you how they work, I'm going to be using a Horizontal Deck Hinge. This is not included in your kit, but it can be found here at etrailer.com using part number 36911733. So we're going to take the bolt out of the Deck Hinge. We're going to line up our bolt and our Deck Hinge and then re-install that bolt there.That's going to give us our hinge feature so that our posts can rotate and be secured to the deck.

Like I said, to insert your pole, we're going to loosen this Allen bolts here. Give you an example, just going to put a 7/8" pole in and then tighten this down. You can see how our external eye end would operate whilst to hold that pole in place. Our eye end is going to come in a set of two and that's going to complete our look at the Taylor Made Bimini Top external eye end.
