When you’re hauling serious weight, you can’t skimp on strength. This adjustable 2-ball mount is built from heavy-duty steel with a 5/16" thick channel frame and a 1/2" welded gusset plate that braces the shank and channel. It’s rated for 12,000 lbs on the 2" ball and 22,000 lbs on the 2-5/16" ball, with a maximum tongue weight of 3,000 lbs. The solid steel shank weighs in at 48 lbs and gives you the confidence to pull heavy trailers without flex or rattle.
Towing different trailers means dealing with different heights. This mount’s adjustable design gives up to a 7-1/4" drop or a 7" rise, so you can set each trailer level for stable handling and even tire wear. The ball platform slides up or down the channel and locks in place with the included pins and clips, letting you dial in the exact height you need every time.
Road grime, salt, and moisture can eat through cheap finishes fast. This mount resists all that with a matte black powder coat over nickel and zinc layers that shield against rust. Even after long hauls or rough weather, it stays looking clean and ready to work without flaking or chipping.
Switching between trailers shouldn’t mean swapping hardware. The welded dual-ball setup (2" and 2-5/16") makes it easy to go from one coupler size to another—just pull the pins, flip the platform, and reinsert them. The hitch balls are welded to the solid steel platform for extra strength and stability when towing different rigs back-to-back.
The included heat-treated pins and clips are made to handle heavy loads without bending or binding. Each piece has a nickel undercoat with a zinc topcoat for corrosion resistance, so they keep working smoothly season after season. This setup gives you a solid connection that stays tight no matter how often you tow.

This is a well made hitch with 2 pin locations on the shank, but the play in the shank magnified with the play in the Ball pins allows a LOT of movement laterally at the ball. Great load capacity.
BulletProof is an apt description, this hitch is a beast! Fast shipping and great customer service. This is one part of a larger order - when the second part was delayed they notified me in advance and allowed me to have the available product shipped separately - wish more vendors would be that proactive. Just received the hitch yesterday, picking up a trailer this week and I have no doubt the hitch will handle the load with ease.
Been using a different adjustable hitch for 13 years. It is no were as massive as this. My towing needs have changed and I needed a hitch thatcan handle the heavier loads. This does with no problems. What a deal to get almost double the weight capabilities for $30.00. I am a big fan.
Very Heavy Duty, 50 lbs
From the moment you open the box you realize you purchased a quality product. The packaging alone tells you that. This is a HEAVY DUTY hitch that can handle anything you ask it to do. This is the most versatile hitch you can buy. There are so many accessories for it that assures that this is the last hitch you will ever have to buy. Yes, you do pay a premium price for it, but I have no regrets. It is good insurance knowing you have a hitch that is “bulletproof “ and isn’t a weak point while towing your $50,000 skid loader.
Originally ordered the medium duty along with a couple other items for a 2500 Ram. Ended up returning for the pure reason of I didn't notice the pintal attachment also sold by bulletproof doesn't fit the medium duty hitches(my fault for not doing enough research). Both hitches look awesome and are very heavy duty. Powder coating seems to be holding up great. All in all very happy with purchase. That being said about the product I can't begin to express how impressed I am by etrailer. For the return I sent them an email and within 30 minutes had an actual person call me to help with the return and the ordering of the replacement heavy duty hitch. Shipping is always fast (between the tires I ordered last year, the hitch the first time, and the replacement for the return). The customer service alone will be the reason I don't buy anything that I can get here from a different site.
A little shocking when spending close to $400 on a hitch and it doesn't come with a pin.
Get lots of compliments about the hitch! It is a bit on the heavy side but when towing different types of trailers and needing to adjust the height this is perfect!
Perfect fit for my RAM 3500. I bent a cheap import hitch mount towing my buddies ocean boat. This hitch is a beast. I like it.
I bought this hitch just under one year. To date, the hitch has performed fine. HOWEVER, the cheap powder coating has turned the entire hitch into a an eyesore. Its just rusting like mad, and the powder coat is now flaking in large chunks. Looks like crap on the back of the truck. I don't even live in an area where salt accumulates or they use it on the roadway.
So far I am extremely happy with this hitch. It is very heavy duty. My towing capacity has changed and needed to upgrade to a heavy duty hitch. I have no doubts this is going to be Bulletproof!! It is very well built and a solid shank.

This is not common as the hitch is covered with a high quality powder coat. If you ever get any paint chips or scratches on this ball mount, we recommend using a rust-oleum type of paint to cover those scratches. That will help with any corrosion as time goes on.
