For your 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually I recommend the Curt Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15809 as it will fit with or without the factory trailer hitch receiver on your truck, and has the Class V rating you were looking for.
This hitch has a 2700lb tongue weight rating and a 20000lb trailer weight rating making it a perfect option for heavy duty towing, though you will need to check the owner's manual of your truck to find its towing capacity and use the lower rating between the hitch and truck.
To go along with the hitch you are going to want a heavy duty ball mount.
