Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the WaterPORT Tanks Hands-Free Shower and Sink Kit

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about WaterPORT's hands-free sink and shower kit. So, let's take a closer look at it. Now, this kit is gonna have two different heads. We're gonna have the regular shower head, and then we're gonna have that hands-free sink head. Now, they're both gonna do a great job, they're gonna have their own really cool features, but if you do decide to go with this, let us know which one you think you're gonna be using more often.

Me personally, I like the shower head a little bit, but this sink one's gonna have some really cool features to it too. So let's start off talking about that shower nozzle. Now, these are gonna be compatible with all of your WaterPORT tanks. I'm gonna give it a few pumps, just so I can build up that pressure. And that's what's nice about this, this is actually gonna have some good pressure behind it.

So there's gonna be three different settings to it. So right now, in the center one, that's gonna be your off position so you don't have to worry about the water coming out. This top one is gonna be one continuous stream. And the bottom one here, if you just press it down, you let go, it's only gonna go on as far as you press it down. Now, these are all gonna be great for different situations.

I think this is gonna be great if maybe you're in a salty or silty situation, you got maybe some grime on you, you want to quickly wash off, you can do that. Or if you went on a hike, you got a lot of mud or dirt on your boots, you can just quickly wash off your feet. Now let's talk about the sink nozzle. We can switch this out pretty quickly, we just need to make sure that we turn off the valve back over here so we're not losing a bunch of pressure and water. Another way to relieve pressure is gonna be through this blue cap at the very top so when we're switching nozzles, we are not losing any pressure.

What we'll have to do is simply come over here. It'll unscrew. Just like that. And now we can put the new one on there. You just need to make sure there is a washer inside of here, it's gonna be one of these rubber ones, that's gonna give you a better seal. And you don't wanna make this too tight, just hand tight. Now let's test it out. No water's coming out, that's because I still have this in the off position, so let me turn it on, you can see a little bit of water coming outta there, it's stopped now. Now when put my hand underneath here, we're gonna get some water that comes out, and it stops when I remove it. I'm just gonna give this a little bit more pressure so we can have a better stream. All right, that should do it. Let's test that again. There we go, we got more pressure there. I do have to keep this relatively close. This is gonna be more so if you just need to wash off your hands real quick, or if you have some dishes or a small pot or bowl you need to fill up, you can do that from here. Now, this is fairly high at the moment. I can adjust this to fit my needs. So there's two ways of doing that. I can either move the mount, or I can just bend this hose. Now, this is gonna be a fairly flexible hose, it retains its shape really nicely. And that's what I like about it, is, if I'm in any awkward spots, I can just adjust this to fit my needs. And as you just saw there, that water just kind of came out of nowhere. That's something to be said, if you're putting this in any awkward spots, or if your arm is close to that sensor, this will be set off. And underneath here we can see this little rubber port, it's gonna say USB. Since this is gonna be motion-sensored, it's gonna use a electrical device inside of here that we can charge up to get that sensor to work. Now I will say I don't recommend using this and charging it up at the same time, since electric and water don't really mix. I know I've talked a lot about the mount, and using it with the mount, but you don't have to use it that way, you can just simply take this off. If you have a spot that's a little bit further away from where you're at currently, If I need to wash off something like my bike right over here, I have that ability too. But if this hose just doesn't have that reach to get down to your boots or to the ground or whatever you need to wash off, you can actually move this mount to a different location pretty easily. So I can show you that now. Now actually working with the mount itself is pretty easy. So when it's sitting here, it's fairly stable. Now if I really pull on it, it's probably gonna come off. Instead, I'm just gonna turn this some, counterclockwise, and pull on it just a little bit. It'll come off, and I can find a new place to put it. Now the biggest thing is, you wanna make sure you're finding a smooth flat surface. I just recently cleaned this off, so if I want something a little bit lower so if I need to wash my hands, fill something up, I can do that. And there we have it. But what's really nice about this at the end of the day is just how universal it is and how adaptable it is. You can really put this into where you need to, whether you're going to the beach, you're going on those longer hikes, you just need to get cleaned up, this is gonna be a way to do it. And we're gonna have this little case to put all your gear into so you don't have to deal with having some random parts just laying around the back of your truck, it's gonna keep it nice and tidy, Well, this was just a look at the WaterPORT showering kit.
