The Yakima RoadShower comes equipped with a tube with a little nozzle on the end, but not a shower head. We have two options on our site. One's gonna be 19 inches long and then the other one, it's gonna be 30 inches long The nozzle and hose that comes with the RoadShower's gonna be great for cleaning some stuff off, but if you're trying to clean yourself off, I do recommend grabbing a shower head like these, just because it's gonna be more like a shower when you're overlanding. The shower heads do come with a disconnect, but if you just wanna use the port for our little hose and nozzle, you can take this off and then take this one off and utilize that same exact spot. And it just connects just like our little hose right there. If you wanna have the hose and nozzle and the shower head equipped at the same time you can grab this piece separately.
It's just another elbow with an on and off switch, just like the one on the other side. And there's another little plug that's all ready for it. I'm not gonna fully tighten this down but I'll just go a couple times like that. And then we can use the quick disconnect that comes with it to thread on there. And then we can have both at the same exact time.
That's why I do recommend grabbing both the shower head and the extra elbow fitting. This is gonna help figure out which length is gonna be best for you. It all just depends on how high your vehicle sits, where the tank is located on that vehicle, and that is gonna determine which one's gonna be the best. For my vehicle, it's a little bit taller. I'm about six foot with shoes on, so I'm definitely gonna need to grab the longer one.
And I might be able to get away with the shorter one if I had bars that had overhang, meaning the tank would be a little bit closer to the side, but let's go ahead and disconnect this real quick and just to see what the shorter one's gonna do, 'cause the 30 inch is perfect for mine right here. But I think the 19 is gonna be a little short. I could still get it and use it and not hit my vehicle, but I would be taking a shower with it kind of facing forward towards me and not just directly on top like a normal shower. If everything is all tightened up correctly, you're still gonna get a little dribble dribble right here, but it's not a whole lot. So let's go ahead and turn the valve on.
So just know you're gonna lose a little bit but we can adjust how much comes out with pushing right there. So that is quite a lot of pressure. So we had it completely pressurized of 65 PSI and it works pretty well. We're not gonna be able to adjust the flow, meaning like make it go wider or a little bit more condensed. All we can control with this is just how much is gonna come out. Whether you have a new or an old RoadShower, both of these accessories, the shorter one and the longer one, are gonna work. And if you do have a legacy RoadShower, that is gonna work as well. So you don't have to worry about if it's not gonna work, 4 gallons, 7 gallon or 10 gallon, it's all good. This is something I highly recommend. And that's pretty much it for our look at the shower nozzle for your Yakima RoadShower..
