Hi, everybody. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at a Drop Down Mount Plate for the Toyota bed rail mount or a 2-inch hitch mount. So if you're using your Toyota truck bed rail mount or hitch mount for your Day Tank, you're probably gonna need this plate if you have a tonneau cover or a spare tire. If you're in this situation, the tank's gonna sit up too high and thus interfering with your cover or spare tire. So this mounting plate is gonna let it drop lower and make sure that you're clearing everything.
It comes with all the hardware required for installation, and it's gonna give you enough clearance for your Day Tank to mount. It's made of durable steel. It's gonna handle anything you throw at it. It's got a nice powder coat finish. As far as some quick dimensions, overall, I got right at 8 inches long.
When I spin it this way for a width, I got right at 7 1/2 inches. And, again, it's 1/4 inch thick. Weighs about 4 pounds, and it is solid steel. (plate mount banging) And that's gonna wrap it up folks for our look at this Drop Down Plate Mount. I'm Steven.
