Features to know about

Comfort and Simplicity for the Long Haul

seated PM62VR

If you're on the road for weeks at a time, you need more than a weekend toilet. This PowerMax toilet is built for part-time RVers who want comfort and durability without the extra weight. A full-height seat makes it easier on your knees, and the ceramic bowl wipes down fast with less effort. You also get a soft-close lid that brings a little peace and quiet to your bathroom routine, and helps avoid waking the family when nature calls before sunrise. If your RV bathroom's already a tight squeeze, the round bowl helps save space. It's a solid upgrade if your current toilet feels too flimsy, cramped, or noisy.

Easier to Clean Than Plastic Bowls

A ceramic toilet bowl saves time and effort on cleanup. The glazed finish creates a smooth, non-porous surface that resists stains and odors better than plastic. It brushes out clean without scuffing or scratching, so your bathroom stays fresher with less scrubbing. Want to make cleanup even easier? This toilet is compatible with a hand sprayer kit (DOM75FR, sold separately).

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

To make sure this toilet fits your RV, measure from the wall to the center of the floor flange. This is the rough-in measurement and you'll need at least 10" for a proper fit. If your current toilet is still installed, you can measure from the wall to the mounting bolts for a good estimate of the flange location. Just keep in mind that an offset flange or a 4-bolt toilet can throw off this measurement, so if you're not sure, removing the old toilet is the best way to double-check before you order.

Video Transcript for PowerMax RV Toilets and Fresh Water Pumps Manufacturer Spotlight

Hey there, neighbors. Kevin here with etrailer. And today we have Graham in from PowerMax, and he's gonna be going through a couple of their plumbing products that they offer for you guys out there in the RV world. So why don't you tell us a little bit more about PowerMax and just a little brief overview. Will do, Kevin. Yeah, thanks.

Yeah, so we, you know, we have quite a broad product range now, and obviously looking and talking about our plumbing options, this is our kind of universal toilet. This is actually the ceramic version we do, and we'll have very shortly a plastic option on this as well. And obviously you've got nice quality build here, and it's the exact swap out for the other brands in the marketplace such as Dometic and the Thetford. You know, simple foot pedal action on this. You know, it takes care of this, whether we're gonna fill the basin or the bowl before or afterwards, obviously press down on the pedal, that's gonna take care of the flushing mechanism on it.

This is a residential-height toilet as well. So, you know, you're getting the same, the idea is to have the same kind of comforts of home when you're on the road. Obviously, you know, going to the bathroom is unfortunately part of everyday life. So another nice feature that we do offer on this is a slow-close lid. You know, saves that getting slammed down in the night, any kind of noise or kids messing about with it, that type of thing as well too.

We do have a number of replacement parts for this that are interchangeable, should, you know, something break along the way, maybe the pedal gets snapped, pushed a bit too hard, that type of thing. One nice feature about our product, Kevin, is the valve on this is able to be froze and will still, you know, work and not leak after the fact. Obviously winterizing, you know, RVs and trailers is an important factor, you know, unfortunately if it's not done properly and still leave a little bit of water in there, you're not gonna have the issue of the valve actually breaking because of ice forming in that too, so. Which is typically what we see here. I mean, unless they're having a leak, it's usually they busted it and then there's not a replacement for the valve.

and you're replacing the whole thing, so. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah, again, so it's an ideal kind of replacement for the other brands there, and, you know, a nice quality product, easily replace on the seat and everything else. And we've got, you know, five or six replacement parts for it, so. Now, do these all come in white or do you have other colors Currently just the white only. We are going into like an ivory option soon, yeah. It's a newer product for us 'cause we do have industries we supply where there's been some demand, and that's why we've kind of moved on to, you know, to this new product range now too. And as far as I believe, you had sold quite a few items in the last few weeks of carrying it too, so obviously, you know, the demand is there for it. Okay. Yeah. Well, we need water to get into here. How are we gonna get water over to our toilet Yeah. Well, the way that works, obviously on the pedestal down here, but as you say, you've gotta get the water in there. So we've got a water pump, conveniently enough. This is our entry-level water pump. We do a 12 and a 115 volt. This one has 3.2 gallons, so it's a little bit more than the gallon per minute flow of some of our competitors that hover usually around that three level. This water pump does run a little quieter than the rest. One of the reasons for that is our feet that mount this to the wall are actually a little firmer so there's less vibration in that, yeah, yeah. And we do include the strainer and the little hose fittings on that too. So, you know, generally it's just a nice option, running a little bit more affordable too than some of the alternatives out there. And we do have some OEMs, they're actually doing this on the install now, since we launched these about a year or so ago now. We are coming out with a five gallon version of this soon for maybe potentially some other type of applications. And then we do have this available currently in a 115 volt too for some customers, yeah. Now, we talked about, you know, winterization, and, you know, freezing up in the valves. How about when we're winterizing with our pump Yeah, no, good question on that. So our pumps have withstand freeze tests where they've been, you know, still with water in, fully froze, thawed, and froze back again. So too, again, another great feature on these, that's the ability to, you know, survive that freeze test. Obviously ideally, we do wanna winterize them and take care of all the water that's in them, but unfortunately that doesn't always happen when there's suddenly a cold spell of weather, you know. Especially here in Missouri. Yeah, and it comes through. But again, this can be thoroughly frozen then thawed, and work without any issues. These can also run dry too, so they can run without water. So if you do have an issue on the supply, you know, the pump's still gonna work. All right, well, that is gonna do it for our look at the couple of plumbing items that PowerMax does offer. Obviously there'll be some more in the future, so be on the lookout for that. But if you still have some questions about these products today, definitely feel free to reach out to us via our ask the experts link, or comment on this video, or a phone call to our customer service department, and we'd be happy to help you out. Once again, thanks, Graham. All right, Kevin. Really appreciate it. Thank for your time today. For coming in and sharing your knowledge with us all. All right, well, thank you. Pleasure being here. Take care.

  • Availability of Elongated Standard Height RV Toilet
Hey Jeff, we do have standard height RV toilets with an elongated bowl but not from PowerMax. The Seaflo Ceramic part # SE42MR would be a great option that is very similar. This is same color, standard height, elongated bowl, and it has a slow close lid. What toilet do you have currently?

  • Does PowerMax RV Toilet Have Flushing Holes All Around The Toilet Bowl
Hey Rick! The PowerMax RV Toilet # PM42VR does have flush holes all around the rim of the bowl. This is how it gets the 360º swirl. It will work with your standard water pump and city water connection. The lid that comes with this toilet is the only option at this time. Make sure you double check your rough-in measurement as well. This requires a 10" rough-in to fit. If you don't have that much space in your Grand Design you won't be able to use this as a replacement. See the attached...
