Today we're going to review part number SW2050. This is the Superwinch hitch mounted winch mounting plate. It does come with the handle shown here. This mounting plate, as I turn it here, you can see has a 2" shank on it that bolts onto it. It is designed to allow this mounting plate to be attached to either a front-mounted hitch or a rear-mounted hitch. The handle is right here.

As you can see you can pick it up this way. It makes it easy to move the winch, and you can remove it from the front to the rear, or to the rear to the front depending on where you're going to winch any vehicle or try to recover any vehicle that's stuck. These handles also will help guard the winch with the winch mounted in here. These handles and the support arms will help protect it from getting damaged. Now this mounting plate is designed to fit 6,000 lb.

to 9,000 lb. electric winches. It is mostly designed to fit the Superwinch model hitches, part number S6000 or S9000, the X6CD, the X9, the EP6.0, the EP 9.0, or the EPI6.0 and EPI9.0. Now the mounting plate, the winch mount plate right here is 13" wide. I'll show you how that measures.

See right there, 13" wide. And the depth on it is going to be right at 8", and the material is 1/4" thick, so it's very heavy duty support. And if you'll notice the mounting holes, it has the sets of mounting holes right here, a set of four, a total of eight holes, two sets of four actually. And it is designed to fit winches that have a 10" x 4-1/2" mounting hole pattern. Now it is mostly designed for the Superwinch models I mentioned, but if your winch does have a mounting pattern of 10" x 4-1/2", it should bolt onto here with no problem.

And that measurement, as you can see, from center to center right there is 10", and the 4-1/2" would be, as you can see, center to center 4-1/2". The mounting hardware is all included. We do have it assembled. When you do order this, this will come all unassembled, so you do have to mount this all together. And we also installed this mounting bracket. This is actually a pack bracket. And on some winches, on some Superwinch hitches, winches, they do have a solenoid pack that is separate from the winch, and that's what this is designed for, if you have a winch that has the solenoid pack separate, it will mount onto this bracket. So you might have to use this bracket. If not, it can be unbolted. You don't have to use it. It's just optional. You can see the holes up front for mounting the fair lead to, which will go right here for the cable to come through. And again, just to show you, it does come with the pin and clip to install into your hitch.
