Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement locking nine millimeter quick release skewer for the Swagman Bike Rack. Now this part here will replace the locking nine millimeter quick release skewer and nut for your Swagman Fork Mount Bike Rack. Basically, this locking skewer is used to lock the front fork of your bike to the bike mount bracket that's on your bike rack. If you notice, it does include a new set of keys for the lock and basically the lock locks the handle to keep anybody from removing your bike. You can see right now you just swing it to tighten it down and then to lock it in place, once you swing it down, take your key, turn it a quarter of return, take your key out and that locks the handle, keeps it from being able to loosen it up.
And then when you go to remove your bike, just go ahead and put your key back in, turn it back a quarter of a turn and it'll release the handle just like that. Now this part does fit the Swagman Fork Mount Bike Racks, the pickup model, the patrol model, the standard model, the Enforcer and the Impact. But that should do it for the review on this replacement locking nine millimeter, quick-release skewer for the Swagman Bike Rack.
