What Is Needed To Complete Trailer Prepped with Lippert Tire Linc
Updated 05/06/2025 | Published 09/01/2022 >
Question:
I just bought a travel trailer that has a sticker on it saying the trailer is prepped for Lippert Tire Link. There is some type of controller installed in the front storage area of the trailer. My question is if the trailer is prepped for Tire Linc, what do I need to buy? Are the sensors installed in the tires like the sensors for my trucks TPMS? The trailer dealer sent me a link to your website for item# LC37vr. Please let me know your opinion. Thank you,

It looks like trailers that come prepped with the Lippert Tire Linc have the repeater installed but not the sensors so in which case you can purchase the sensors separately using the Tire Sensors for Tire Linc TPMS part # LC97VR which are sold in pairs. This would then give you the complete kit which is the Tire Linc OneControl TPMS w/ Signal Booster part # LC37VR.

This answer is partly correct. Trailers "prepped" for Tire Linc have the docking station installed and wired, so that the repeater can just plug into it. To use the system, the owner needs to purchase both the repeater and the sensors.
