How To Mount Demco Hijacker FWH24 on a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500

Question:

Would like to mount on a 2018 gmc 1500 6.5 ft box. I have the hitch and rails but nothing for the frame

In order to mount a Demco Hijacker FWH24 on a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 you'll need the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Custom Mounting Brackets part # DM8552027 and Replacement Rails for Demco Hijacker 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM6014.

Please note, this option only works if the hitch previously used rails which mounted left to right and not front to back.

Hey this is great info. I have a Hijacker FWH24PA Slider hitch and the slider rails that look like your DM6014 part...so I want to buy the custom mounting brackets # DM8552027 and just wanted to make sure they will attach to the north south configuration as they don't show that in the installation PDF. THX

@ShawnS Yes, the Demco Premier Series Custom Mounting Brackets item # DM8552027 do work in that configuration with the Replacement Rails DM6014. What year, make, and model is your truck?

@JerredH reason I ask is I have the bed rails, and I have the L-brackets but would.rather have the mounting kit you supply, looks cleaner...but it only shows a fire/aft bolt flanges. My set up shows 3 mounting points both sides hence the 6 L brackets. Also your bed rails look longer...
