Side plates attach to your Demco Recon manual-slide underbed fifth-wheel trailer hitch (DM94YV). They bolt onto the hitch base so that you can attach your hitch to the factory underbed mounts in your Ford truck.

Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Demco Recon Ford Side Plate Set. Now, these side plates are going to attach to your Demco Recon 21,000 Pound Manual Slide Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch. And then that will allow you to hook up to your Ford's factory underbed rail system, the factory prep package. So if you already have the Recon and you have some other side plates for an older vehicle and you've upgraded to a Ford, and this will allow you to still use your Recon but with your Ford's prep package.
So now we've got the feet here that will open up, and we'll drop right into your factory puck system. And then you'll close those levers and to get it locked in place, so you've got a nice, solid connection to your underbed rails. These are made here in the USA of a very sturdy steel construction. You can see they have a black powder coat finish on them to help resist rust and corrosion. It's gonna be a very simple bolt-on installation to your hitch base.
They do include all the mounting hardware, the handles, and safety pins, as well as instructions to help you get them installed properly.
