Today we're going to take a look at the replacement safety chain U bolt kit for BMW gooseneck hitches. Now this kit will replace lost or damaged safety chain U bolts on your BMW gooseneck hitch. This is designed to fit most BMW gooseneck hitches. The kit will include everything shown here. It includes the two half inch U bolts, the four half inch lock nuts, and the four conical shaped springs. Those parts are designed to attach the U bolts to your hitch head.
Basically you just drop your U bolt through the holes in your truck bed and the hitch head. Put your spring underneath and then just attach your lock nuts on there to hold it into place. The last remaining parts right down here, these three parts, that's a five-sixteenths three quarter inch carriage bolt, a five and sixteenths by three quarter inch cap screw, and a five-sixteenths flange nut. Those pieces are supplied because they can be used to attach your latch pin release handle to the latch pin that's on the gooseneck hitch. That should do it for the review on the replacement safety chain u bolt kit for the BMW gooseneck hitches..

Great product at a great price. Exactly what we needed to complete our B&W gooseneck hitch.
The SAFETY CHAIN KIT was exactly as described. It fit perfectly and was very easy to install by following B&W's excellent instructions. I have ordered from etrailer.com before and their service is first rate. This product was not in stock, as I needed it for a 1999 pickup. Etrailer.com quickly found the correct kit for me and told me exactly how long it would take for them to get it and then to ship it to me. It was actually early.
Had to pull the bed off the truck and could not remove 3 of the 4 lock nuts on the existing set of U-bolts. Cut the U-bolts thinking I would just get new ones. A little shocked when I saw the price! But I understand it does involve a safety issue and these are not the 3 buck U-bolts from the hardware store. B&W makes quality items and I'm completely satisfied with their products.
I have been trying to get these ubolts for my gooseneck hitch in my truck since I got it. I went to my parts houses where my accounts are and they all said can't get them. By accident I was on line and stumbled over etrailer. and could not believe how easy it was.
