Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Carr side-mounted hideaway step for work trucks. Now, this step is going to help you access equipment stored in truck beds or compartments. This is gonna be great for utility, construction, or emergency vehicles, and this is designed for side installation, which is going to be ideal for service trucks and side-mounted toolbox or compartments. So this is gonna be perfect for fleet managers, outfitting utility or service trucks, contractors with lifted or commercial trucks, municipalities and emergency services, needing reliable truck access solutions. This is gonna be good for anyone that's needing a safer, more efficient truck access for high clearance vehicles.

So taking a closer look here, this is designed for hands-free deployment. The idea is, after you have this mounted, you'll just use your foot to tap this to extend it, and then you push it back to lock it in place. Obviously, with it being on my table here, I can't use my foot, but I do want to show you just how easy this is going to extend. This is going to support up to 500 pounds. So this is strong enough for heavy duty use, whether you're hauling tools up and down off of this step, job site gear, multiple trips in and out or up and down, it's going to be built for that.

This does have a 36-inch wide platform that's gonna give you more room and stability underfoot than smaller steps. It is seven inches deep and the bright yellow color as you can see here, definitely stands out. So this is gonna be a huge plus for low-light or busy environments. It's gonna help reduce the chance of tripping on it or missing the step entirely. So again, it has a hideaway design.

You'll just push it in just like that. As you can see, it easily locks into play. So when it's not in use and you have this fully retracted, it's gonna be out of your way. It's gonna reduce the risk of snagging or getting damaged, it's going to be protected and actually preserve your work truck's clean look. So no clunky aftermarket steps sticking out all the time.

So again, very easy to extend this and then retract it just like that. If you we inchesre wondering about some overall dimensions, I took some before our time together. The overall width from end to end, right at about 41.5 inches wide. The overall depth, 23.5 inches deep. And then the overall height, about 4.5 inches tall. So this does include the brackets here, the hardware which I have kind of loosely assembled here. So everything that you see here along with instructions to guide you through the installation process.
