Question:
Hi, In 2017 I had a 20000lb BandW Companion Fifth Wheel hitch installed on my 2015 Silverado 3500 DRW pickup. While my primary purpose was towing a fifth wheel trailer, I bought this hitch because it could also be used for gooseneck trailers. I am about to pick up a new gooseneck flatbed trailer and I removed the above bed parts of the BandW Companion hitch for the very first time. This is when I realized that the dealer I bought the fifth trailer and the Companion hitch from did not provide either the gooseneck ball or the safety chain tiedowns. Now I must buy and install both but do not know which safety chain tiedown parts kit to buy. Can you recommend a tiedown parts kit?

For your B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1012, you'll need the Replacement Safety Chain U-Bolt Kit for B&W Gooseneck Hitches # BW1900-2-1600 for your safety chain tie downs, and, either # BWGNXA2025 for a 2-5/16 ball with a 2" diameter, or # BWGNXA2010 for a 2-5/16" ball with a 1" diameter.
