Question:
I am helping a friend repack and replace the inner and outer bearings on his boat trailer and need to purchase new grease seals for the back ones. The bearing numbers are as follows: - outer front bearing L44649 - inner back bearing L68149 What seals do I need? What grease should I use to repack the bearings and refill the grease chamber with? I included a picture of the back bearing and its grease seal with a ruler in the picture. The rough OD of the seal is 2.34 Thanks

Expert Reply:
Based on your bearing numbers and the rough dimension of your seal it looks like you have a number 84 spindle. For a complete bearing kit with everything needed you would want the part # BK2-100.
If you only need the seal at this point you would want part # RG06-050.
