Hi, Can you tell me if the Roadmaster Rollaway Trailer Hitch Protector, RM-050, will work without modification on a Curt 13707 trailer hitch? Thanks

Hi Neal!

I went out to our warehouse and grabbed one of the Roadmaster Rollaway Trailer Hitch Protector # RM-050 to see if it would fit on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13707 for your 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis. Turns out it definitely does! I took a few pictures of it installed on the hitch to prove it. : )

Keep in mind that I am no photographer, so don't judge me too hard on them.

Is your car lowered by chance?

Hi Neal, Did you have a chance to try out the Roadmaster Rollaway Hitch Protector with your Curt hitch on the Grand Marquis? I'm curious to know how it worked for you, especially if your car is lowered, as it might help others in similar situations.
