Hey Russ, the Thomas Payne Dual Reclining RV Loveseat # TP68KR that you referenced requires 2 inches of wall clearance so that it can recline all the way.

12 inches is INCORRECT. 2 inches is all you need as the 'wall=hugger' design allow the backrest to ride down, the out to full extension, never touching the wall. Saying it's 12 inches will lose you alot of buyers.
