Want To Upgrade From CRE 3000 Suspension On 2023 Grand Design Momentum 336M

Question:

I have a 2023 Grand Design Momentum 336M. My suspension is standard with CRS 3000. Would like to upgrade to something better for ride and minimize chucking. Any suggestions? Want to maintain ride height, or at least not go lower.

Hello Lanny, thanks for reaching out. The CRE 3000 is already a pretty good suspension system, but if you want to upgrade, the first thing that comes to mind are the AllTrek 4000 equalizers. They have more rubber than the CRE 3000, 40% more, so you will get a lot more effective shock absorption. It also adds another inch of suspension travel. This will definitely be the best option for an upgrade that does not require any major modifications. You will just need to select the correct equalizer for your wheelbase:

- 35" Wheelbase: MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR29DR

- 33" Wheelbase: MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR89DR

Let me know if you have any questions on this. Or if you had another upgrade in mind just let me know in the comments below and we can go over it.

What about roadmaster comfort ride? I am mechanically qualified to install. Does this one improve chucking and anything i need to know about my Grand Design Momentum 336M?

@Lanny The comfort ride is a great system and in my opinion, this will provide better ride quality than an upgraded equalizer like those I mentioned above. Adding the shocks into the mix really makes a big difference. Install is a lot more involved but if you are up to the task it is definitely worthwhile. Just please confirm that the axles on your 5th wheel are indeed 7,000 lb rated and that your wheelbase is 35". If so, the # RM-2460-2570 is what you will need.
