Question:

2021 grand design 367bhs. I have a couple questions before I purchase this kit. 1 I want to replace the provided nylon leaf spring bushings with a bronze so I can use my wet bolts. Can you recommend the right part number for this application? 2 Also, I am planning to purchase the xfactor crossmember for the front and rear leaf hangers. Is there a crossmember that works for the center slipper spring hanger or is this even necessary with this upgraded slipper spring box?

Hey Dallas,

If you'd like, you can use the Dexter Bronze Bushings # K71-291-00 with the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 8K, 3" Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2580.

That said, it really isn't needed because the Comfort Ride comes with Never Fail bushings, which are self-lubricating and designed specifically not to wear out. These are going to last much longer and don't require maintenance, unlike a bronze bushing and wet bolts, which will wear out and are something you'll need to keep an eye on. So while you can use bronze bushings with the # RM-2460-2580, I honestly think it's more trouble than it's worth.

As for the X-Factor, there isn't one for the center slipper spring hanger, but also isn't necessary, particularly if you're using them for front and rear hangers.
