Hi Ashley; we do have a hitch and wiring for your 2025 Chevy Equinox. I recommend the following:

-etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e59ZR

-Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C44FR

I really like the etrailer hitch since we give it that matte black finish. This helps hide dirt and scratches while giving it an OEM look. The Curt wiring harness plugs into the connection point behind your rear bumper and comes with the tow package relays. Once installed, you will have a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. If you don't already have one, you will also need a ball mount like the # e67DR if you plan on towing.

@Lou according to Tekonsha the # 118285 will fit your 2025 with the tow package. However, it looks like there are some models that came with a 4-pin and some that came with a 6-pin factory harness. Make sure you have the 6-pin. Tekonsha went ahead and discontinued the wiring harness, I'm guessing this is part of the reason why.

2025 equinox. It has 4 prong plug with trailer wire colors. It accepts the C44FR but there is nothing coming out. What does it take to make work? Is it programming or maybe a fuse? This is getting frustrating. Bill

@Bill I'm sorry, I get frustrated too when I expect something to work and it doesn't. I would test the factory wiring/connector for power. You can also see if you have towing fuses/relays that are missing. I haven't heard any reports of the dealer needing to activate the tow package but that has happened on other vehicles before, wouldn't hurt to reach out to them and check.
