Question:

I have a 2025 chevy equinox, the class 2 hitch listed is the same as I used on my 2019, C98CR. The 2025 is the next generation of equinox. Can you assure me that it will fit the newer 2025? Also I’m not sure about the wiring harness. Thanks, Bill

Hey Bill, so the hitch ( # C98CR ) you mention will fit a 2025 Equinox, but right now there are no custom fit wiring harnesses. So, your only option on that front would be to use a universal harness like the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236.

As per your previous email, I will order hitch C98CR. As for the wiring, I’m very confused. You recommended the universal c59236. Would this work as well as the custom fit? Or should I wait until somebody comes out with the custom? Thanks, Bill

@BillR Bill, the universal option will work just as good as a custom one would. The custom ones are just a bit easier to install, but they both work the exact same.

@BryceD thanks, I’ll go ahead and order that set up. I don’t plan on hauling anything heavy with the new Equinox, especially with cvt! Mainly bike rack where I wouldn’t even need the lights, thanks for your help, Bill
