Hello. Ive been thinking of purchasing the curt hitchC13130 as well as the curt aluminum cargo carrier C18113 for my 2017 acura rdx. My question is. Is there anything else recommended to go with it? Anti rattle? Lock? Ive never owned a hitch. Thank you. Also is there by the way any coupon codes?

Hey Robert!

Thanks for being interested in joining the hitch club! First things first, the Curt Class III # C13130 is a great choice for your 2014 Acura RDX (super easy install) and it'll work great with the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18113 you have your eyes on. Fit and compatibility verified.

Now for the extras, I definitely do recommend adding an anti-rattle pin and lock, and you can do both with part # 63232. This will secure the carrier to your vehicle and drastically reduce any movement/noise at the connection during travel.

The only other thing I recommend looking at, and this depends a bit on what you plan on using the carrier for, is a cargo bag to fit inside it like the etrailer # e98990. This will help keep your items dry if you happen to run into any storms on the road.
