Are Replacement Wheels With A 5 On 4-7/8" Bolt Pattern Available

Published 04/03/2024

Question:

I have a 2002 Rocking Chair Mfg trailer with 15x5 wheels but no spare. The wheels appear to be 5 on 4-7/8, measuring 2-7/8 between lugs. Are such wheels available?

Hey Steve,

I can't seem to find anything with that pattern that didn't come up as a damaged wheel where the bolt holes were damaged, throwing off the measurement. Are the bolt holes on your wheel worn/oblong? With you being at 4-7/8" I'd be willing to bet you either have a 5 on 4-3/4 (less common but still out there) or a 5 on 5 (super common) bolt pattern.

I would try measuring the studs on your trailer hub instead to try and get a more accurate measurement. I've also attached a guide below that makes measuring odd numbered patterns much easier and more accurately. Let me know what you find and if you want to send some pictures I can take a look as well.
