Question:

I have an LCI power awning not working on a Salem Hemisphere 5th wheel. Ive replaced the switch...no help. I tried to manual override with 7/16 socket, but the nut turns freely with no movement of the awning. What could this mean? Thank you.

It sounds like you have a Solera Power Awning on your Salem Hemisphere. Based on what you have described either the drive pin is broken/sheared or a gear is broken inside the drive head. I recommend checking both to see if you can confirm this is the problem.

The gears can be replaced with # LC353964. For the drive pin we have the # LC266141 for the plain style head and # LC93FR for the regal style. You can also replace the entire drive head with # LC273478 (plain) or # LC53TF (regal).
