Recommended Hitch Extender for H2 Hummer With Rear Mounted Spare Tire
Question:
I have an h2 hummer that has spare tire mounted on the back. I have a BW 2” tow and stow adjustable trailer hitch and needed an extension for the trailer hitch what would you recommend

You can use an extender with a B&W Tow & Stow like the # BWTS10048B but it will limit your towing capacity. The use of an extender will reduce the capacity of your hitch by 50%. You will be limited by the 50% hitch capacity or the capacity of the extender itself, whichever is lower.
I recommend the Gen-Y Hitch Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches # GY89SR. This measures 14" long which should be enough to clear your tire and is on the high end for extender capacity with a maximum gross trailer weight of 10,000 lbs and tongue weight of 500 lbs.
If you need a higher capacity for towing the only option would be an extended adjustable ball mount like the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches # D900. This will not reduce the capacity of your hitch and measures 15-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball.
