No Trailer Lights on 2011 Toyota Highlander After Fuses Checked
Question:
I have a 2011 Highlander with the tow prep package. I have installed the plug and play wiring and the fuse but still have no lights.

I have run into many issues with the trailer lights on a 2011 Toyota Highlander. In most cases, the wrong harness is purchased and it does not come with the converter section. The converter section cannot be purchased separately so I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118449 to resolve the issue. If the converter section is in place then it could be faulty. In regards to the fuses, there are some in both the converter section of the harness and the engine bay fuse box so you'll need to be sure to check both.
I understand you said you have the towing prep but that still does not mean you don't need the converter section of the harness and in my experience, that's the first place to look when troubleshooting.
