Replacement Option for Superwinch S4500 With Bad Remote

This remote has 3 male pin connector it has a slot cut into it. None of the ones I see have the 3 pins arranged like mine and doesnt have a slot. My model is superwinch s4500 I believe I bought it early 2000s Thank you for your time

It looks like your S4500 has the plug that is older than the "Old Style" like the # SW48YR replacement remote has. Unfortunately, according to Superwinch there is no replacement option for this remote, and it is not possible to adapt a newer remote so it will work with your winch.
This means the only option for a working remote is to completely replace the winch. The S4500 has been discontinued so I recommend the Superwinch S5500 Trailer Winch # SW1455200. This has a 5,500 lb line pull and comes with a 3-year warranty on electrical components and lifetime warranty on mechanical components.
