Recommended Weight Distribution System For A 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I have a 2017 Subaru Outback towing capacity of 2700lbs, I am towing a coachman viking 12.0 td max dry weight at 2225Lbs hitch weight is 259 Ilbs, would a 2 point WDH be enough tom even and control sway? Ive been looking at the Husky 32216 not sure if its a 2-point or 4?, the Curt 17601 and Reese Integrated Sway. I appreciate any advice

When it comes to choosing the correct weight distribution hitch for your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon you need to choose a system that is as close as possible to the loaded weight of your trailer. If you choose something that is way overkill like a 10,000 pound system that could cause even more sway then what you already have currently. I recommend The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Round - 6,000 pounds GTW, 600 pounds TW # FA94-00-0600.
This weight distribution hitch has a tongue weight capacity between 400 pounds to 600 pounds with a maximum gross towing weight up to 6,000 pounds. This system has a 2 point integrated points of sway control that limit side-to-side movement of the trailer. It has no-drill clamp on brackets that can be adjusted along the trailer frame to accommodate the frame mounted items such as gas tanks, battery boxes, toolboxes, or generators.
Everything is included with this system except The 2 inch Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems - 8,000 pounds # EQ91-00-6080.
