How To Wire The Transfer Switch When Installing The Go Power Weekender RV Solar System
Question:
So I wired transfer switch like it said to do . But now my generator won’t charge battery because the charger go through the inverter transfer switch. So can I just wire a separate wire from generator to charger/converter??

When installing the transfer switch # 342GPTS for your Go Power Weekender ISW RV Solar Charging System # 34282183 the generator/shore power should be wired to the N.O. Neutral and N.O. Hot terminals along with the converter charger.
The Inverter should be wired to the N.C. Neutral and N.C. Hot terminals. If you have the inverter on the same terminals as the shore power/generator then it will never kick back and forth between the two. The inverter can not be wired to the same terminals as the charger as this will just create a loop of the battery running the inverter to charge itself and will quickly drain your battery.
When the generator is running it's going to send power to the N.O. terminals, which also have the charger wired to them, thus sending power to the charger as well.
