What is needed to flat tow a 2011 Dodge Derango

Yes a 2011 Dodge Durango can be flat-towed. My research shows the 3.6L V6 and 5.7L V8 Hemi Durango models are capable of being towed only if they have a 2-speed transfer case. You will need to check your owners manual to find out what type of transfer case you have.
That said, you will need Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521440-5 (if you have adaptive cruise control). Or Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521440-4 (If you do not have adaptive cruise control).
Then I suggest the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # RM-522. This is the main connection point for your base plate to the tow vehicle.
To keep you legal and safe you will need RoadMaster 64" Double Hook, Straight Safety Cables - 8,000 lbs # RM-646. Safety chains are required in most states when flat-towing.
I recommend using the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord # RM-152-98146-7 to connect and sync all of your signal and brake lights together.
For your actual braking system I recommend the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700.
