Why Is Redarc Tow Pro Elite RED44FR Not Flashing Blue and Green When Starting Vehicle?

after installing the brake controller and turning on the car, the brake controller doesnt flash green and blue signaling that it is in learning mode. if i press it down the blue light comes on, how do i know if it is working properly?

Since the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR you installed on your 2019 Toyota Sequoia is solid blue and not flashing blue/green it sounds like it has already calibrated.
You can confirm this by driving around a bit and seeing if it goes into learning mode. The controller will only do this the first time, or any time the black power wire is disconnected from the battery.
I recommend hooking up to your trailer and going to an empty parking lot. Speed up to 15-20MPH and then hit the brakes. You should not feel the trailer pushing your vehicle. If you do then turn up the gain on the controller until you do not. If when you apply the brake pedal the tires on your trailer lock up then you need to turn the controller down slightly. You want as much braking force as possible without locking up the tires.
