Question:
I just finished installing a Redarc TowPro on my 2021 Kia Telluride with factory installed tow package. I need to know whether any of the LED lights on the Redarc will light up without a trailer being attached. Mine doesnt and Im worried I have a bad connection somewhere. I dont have a meter to test at the 7 pin connector.

To best verify your installation of the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller, # RED44FR I suggest that you connect to your trailer and ops check if the brakes engage. You will not see an indicator light illuminated until connected. While calibrating it will flash green/blue. It will be red when brakes are applied and green in user-controlled braking mode.
