Most vehicles will have a transmission cooler integrated into the radiator. There are lines from the transmission to the radiator to circulate transmission fluid through the radiator so the transmission runs cooler. Under normal circumstances, this works pretty well unless you're towing near the 1500 lb towing capacity of the CR-V or are towing in a hilly or mountainous area.
Supplemental transmission coolers like # D13502 are available that would install directly behind the grille in front of the radiator. The cooler would tap into the return line from the radiator to the transmission, so the transmission fluid would be cooled in the radiator, then the supplemental cooler then be returned to the transmission.
Unless you'll be frequently towing above say 1000 lbs up and down hills, you most likely won't need a supplemental cooler, but it IS inexpensive insurance for your transmission that's pretty easy to install, as you can see in the linked video.
The Draw-Tite # 36520 hitch you'd looked at is a fit for your CR-V, but for approximately the same cost, you can get a Class III like the Curt # C13119. There are tons more accessories available for a Class III, so that's what I'd recommend going with. You'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # C56158 a ball mount like # 2753 and either a # 19260 1-7/8 or a # 63845 2 inch trailer ball.
I've also linked to install videos for the hitch and trailer wiring harness I mentioned above.
