Brake shock actuator. What shock do you have that will fit an atwood 61101

Expert Reply:
Atwood is no longer in business, which means replacement parts are unfortunately no longer available for your Atwood 61101 surge brake actuator. The best option available if yours is no longer working is to replace the actuator, which you can do with either of the following models, depending on if you have drum brakes or disc brakes.
- Drum Brakes: Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM72VR
- Disc Brakes: Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM62VR
Both of these actuators are bolt-on options that fit 3 inch wide channels, have a 7,000 lb capacity, and couple to a 2 inch hitch ball. They are also plated in zinc which means you won't have to deal with the actuator corroding, and they are very simple to use. These Demco actuators have what is called an EZ-Latch system, which means you just drop the actuator's coupler over the hitch ball and it snaps right in place.
I have added links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
