Question:
I see the DM64VR comes with electric lock out for reverse and it is for disc brakes And the DM72VR doesnt come with electric lock out for reverse and its for drum brakes What makes them different to use for drum brakes? I have drum brakes and I need electric lock out for reverse and the 72 doesnt say you can use the DM11993 adapter for reverse lock out Why cant I use the 64 with reverse lock out on drum brakes if they are both for hydraulics brake system?

The difference between the Demco # DM62VR for disc brakes and the Demco # DM72VR for drum brakes is the pressure each one operates at so that why they cannot be interchanged.
Disc brakes require 1600 PSI where drums like what your trailer has require around 1000 PSI.
For a surge brake actuator compatible with drum brakes and a reverse lockout solenoid I recommend going with the Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - Drum Brakes - 2" Ball - Zinc Plated - 7,500 lbs # 099-175-00 which can be used with the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts # T4748800.
I included a video of the # 099-175-00 for you to take a look at.
