Does the Furion Vision S Have an Internal Power Source
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
Does the Furion Vision S FOS43TASF have an internal battery as well as the factory power cord? Some or our dash devices do, which lets me eliminate cords all over the dash of the truck. I usually have to charge these other devices every 1 to 2 weeks so I dont have to use the cords. Can I di this with my Furion I sure hope so?

The Furrion Vision S # FOS43TASF would need to be plugged in at all times as it does not have an internal power source. That being said, I have a couple options that may suite your needs better if you preferred to not have the power wire going to the camera.
The Rear View Safety # RVS-83112 would be a wireless system, but the monitor would need to be plugged into a cigarette lighter port at all times. However, it doesn't have wires running anywhere. The plug on the end if attached to a flexible arm that would let you position the monitor however is most visible. I included a review video for you to take a look at as well.
The other option I have is the Swift Hitch camera system # 04928. This is a truly wireless system and will only need to be charged when the included Lithium-ion batteries are low. I included a review video of this for you as well.
