Helpful Expert Reply:
There is no type of wheel tray extension for the Thule T1 1-Bike Rack 9041, as it does fit bikes with a maximum wheelbase of 48 inches.
The only option we have is a different 1-bike rack, the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack # RKY87RR.
The HighNoon FC Solo has the longest maximum wheelbase available, working with bikes that have up to a 52 inch wheelbase. It has a 60 lb capacity so it will work with your 50 lb e-bike, and fits tires up to 5 inches wide, so it really does cover all the bases.
