Question:

Is there a trailer hitch that will work with the 2017 Acura MDX SH-AWD with Technology Package? I gather that there is no spare tire, but there is the AWD function that seems to have hardware that might get in the way of a hitch ? because it takes up the area that would otherwise house the spare tire. Does that make sense? And do you have a trailer hitch that will fit given that the Acura MDX is AWD that we have? Thanks Matt

Yes I recommend the etrailer Class III - Item # e98864. The hitch is a custom fit hitch and mounts to the directly to the frame rails.

If you are planning on towing a trailer I also recommend T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # 118628 and the Tow Ready Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat Item # 18144
