Comparing Fulton F2 and XLT Winches

Question:
I have a 2013 Ranger Z518 with the tandem RangerTrail trailer. It came from the factory with a Fulton XLT 1401 winch. I am considering changing it out and upgrading to either a 2 speed Fulton XLT or a 2 speed Fulton F2. I would appreciate any info and suggestions on which one to go with. Also I would like to know if either one is available with the safety strap with the hook that connects the winch hook to the trailer as a safety feature.

I would easily recommend the Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed Trailer Winch with Adjustable Handle - 2,000 lbs # FW20000301 or the Fulton XLT 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Heavy Duty 20' Strap - Zinc - 2,600 lbs # F142418 as a replacement for your application.
The F2 is more designed for comfort and ease of use with it's ergonomic shaped handle that can be adjusted to length and left or right handed and lighter capacity whereas the XLT is a bit more robust and has a higher capacity.
Neither has a safety strap like what you mentioned though.
