Boat Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size 205/75-14

Looking to replace the trailer tires on my 2007 Prestige dual axle boat trailer, tire size 205/75/14. Trailer calls for Load Range C. I am looking at the Maxxis M8008 in a load range C a load range D. I have had the Maxxis tires and have very good luck with them but I have been told you should go up a load range. I mostly tow the boat trailer on the highway. Any advice and recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

For your boat trailer I would recommend the Kenda Karrier part # AM10235 that you referenced. When it comes to trailer tires these would be great for you. They have a speed rating of 81 mph which is great for highway use.
They are rated for 2,200 pounds per tire at 75 psi and come with a 5-year warranty.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.

Assuming your trailer wouldn't need the capacity of the higher Load Range and you could use the LR C or LR D I'd go with the #AM10235 over the #TR20514 as it has a longer warranty at 5 years when compared to 2 years.
