The er light keeps flashing on my Reese brake controller. The unit seems to be working ok but like i said the er light keeps flashing?

The ER code on a Reese brake controller typically indicates an internal problem that can't be fixed and requires replacing the controller. Since yours is still working normal I'd say that you are probably on borrowed time with it and will eventually need a new one once it decides to fully let go.
When it's time the # TK63VR is a really great choice that is proportional (senses how hard you are applying the vehicle brakes) and priced great. This would plug right into the harness you have now as well.
