Do I need to buy the mounting bracket separately? I bought this item and I only received the hood latch

The mounting bracket to actually attach the Hood Latch # PLR284 to the vehicle is included but the keeper end bracket (to secure the latch) is not. This can be added with part # PLR281.

I checked with Polar Manufacturing and can confirm the center to center mounting hole distance on the Hood Latch with Mounting Bracket part #PLR284 is 1-7/16". I have attached a drawing of this for you as well.
