Towing Capacities, Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2005 Ford F-150 SuperCab 4WD With 5.4L V8
Question:
I have a 05 f150 super cab XLT 4X4 5.4 what weight will it haul

Expert Reply:
According to Ford, a 2005 Ford F-150 SuperCab with four-wheel drive and a 5.4L V8 will have a capacity between 7,300 lbs and 9,300 lbs depending on what wheelbase it has and what axle ratio it has. I recommend finding what yours is and looking in your owner's manual, which will have these capacities.
Then for a trailer hitch you can add the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14357 for a heavy duty, Class IV hitch and if you need to add a wiring harness the Plug-N-Tow (R) Vehicle Wiring Harness # 40185 or the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Pole Flat Connectors # C55774 if you have the factory 7-way and need a replacement.
I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
