Using Taller Equalizer to Lift Trailer After Changing to Lower Mounting Holes on Hangers
Question:
I currently have the eq-104 equalizer on my 39 foot fifth wheel. The front and rear spring hangers have adjustment hole of 2 on them but the center one does not. Front and rear have been ped to the lowest hole to increase the height of the camper. But with no adujustment the middle hanger the spring are not properly aligned. Will the eq-310 give me the I need to get my spring properly aligned? I know changing the middle hanger to a longer one will work too, but I would rather not change it if I dont have too.

As you mentioned in your question, we typically recommend replacing existing hangers with taller ones to ensure you get the trailer lift you are wanting. But with that being said, in your particular application, that is what you will essentially be doing since you already adjusted the front and rear hangers to the lower mounting hole.
Because of this, replacing the 2 inch tall Equalizer # TREQ104 with the 4 inch tall Equalizer # TREQ310 that you referenced will indeed lift your trailer and properly align the leaf springs (as long as the 2 inch difference is what you're needing). I have attached a short video demonstration on this equalizer that you can also take a look at.
